Take 5 Splodges and Splashes

Good afternoon family, friends and followers, today I  have two cards for Oak House Studio's April Take 5 Challenge Something Blue.  For more details of the challenge visit the Oak House Studio blog.

For these cards I made some home made washi tape by stamping two strips of masking tape with two different colours and stamps.  The first with the square grid stamp in the sea blue pigment ink and the circle grid stamp in the triple sky pigment ink.

White stamping card  was lightly sprayed with totally turquoise ink and drops of waterfall ink were splashed here and there.  The second background also on stamping card was a mixture of stamping, dropping ink onto the card and flicking with a brush.

I added the tape to the backgrounds, a sentiment to both and embellished the first card with a die cut feather coloured with sea blue and sky blue pigment ink .  The backgrounds were mounted onto matching coloured card then attached to white linen card blanks, a few enamel dots were added to finish the cards.
